Tay Township is the stretch where the route quiets down — Victoria Harbour, Port McNicoll, Waubaushene, and the back lanes that run between them. A lot of waterfront properties, a lot of seniors who'd rather not drive into Midland on icy days, and a lot of cottages where the directions involve "third lane past the marina."
The Tay stops sit between the Coldwater line and the Penetanguishene harbour, and the route times them so the basket lands in Victoria Harbour and Port McNicoll while the bread is still warm from the morning load. Customers here tend to know each other — half the basket recipes get traded back at the door.
If you're tucked back off Hwy 12 or down a private lane along Sturgeon Bay, walk Brian through it on the first call.
